guns: VIRUS SCHOOL of LIFE TEACHES MUCH - 03/15/20 07:27 PM
We are in a cause and effect mode mixed with mild-panic plus a learning curve to a subject we never really heeded but instead took two Tylenol or NyQuil and called it a day. We are all getting educated on this subject just like they would teach it in school only this is better. But there is more going on that meets the eye and the future will reveal it soon enough
THE OBVIOUS
When things settle down and they will, we have learned about what people do, cities, states and government do or don't, products and services, treatments and what really to fear should … (8 comments)

guns: DON'T MOVE or I'LL SHOOT YOU? part 2 - 11/02/14 11:44 PM
In part one, we are exploring some of the dynamics of carrying a gun, using it and what can happen both good and bad as well as unpredictable. Hollywood, real life and even good stories all present scenarios of what could, should and did happen and why or why not. But at a severe price
THE WILD WEST HAD RULES
Back in the wild west, you can carry a gun but before you pull it, there are rules. You never draw on someone unless you have very good cause like your the law or you caught them in an act or they are … (6 comments)

guns: DON'T MOVE or I'LL SHOOT YOU? part 1 - 11/02/14 10:19 PM
There has been talk about people arming themselves legally by applying for a concealed weapons permit. In the Real Estate business where women are exposed and perhaps more at risk, this seems to be one of the solutions to the anxiety and potential problem scenario of being assaulted. So, what should ordinary rule playing citizens do?
YOU DON'T KNOW UNTIL YOU DO
The person who is laying in wait, who has planned for the assault has also  planned not to get caught. You are already at a disadvantage right there. The element of surprise is in the perpetrators favor. What if your fear is driving you instead of a real threat? … (2 comments)

guns: HUNTING ANIMALS FOR FOOD AND SPORT DECADES AGO - 08/24/13 01:34 AM
Hunters hunt and they love it. It is/was a huge sport all over the planet. It only turned into a sport when the odds shifted dramatically in favor of mankind with the invention of HOT LEAD. Prior to that, what could take on an animal in its own environment and win every-time? There was a time where it would take ingenuity, traps, prowess, patience and luck but not now.
GO BACK IN TIME
If hunting for food, it had to be done no matter what the cost. Many hunters of old used to hunt all the local animals for their … (3 comments)

guns: TIME I ALMOST GOT KILLED DOING A BPO part 2 - 07/02/12 11:18 PM
I shared in part 1 how an innocent everyday BPO turned into something else in a heart beat and without warning. I had to call 911 because I was in fear for my well-being. For the whole story, please read part 1 by clicking below. Part 2 picks up where I am taking captive by a group of thugs after being told to drop my phone. I had dialed 911
911 TRYING TO CALL ME BACK
It turns out that 911 was trying to call me back and kept trying to call me back. When they couldn't not get a hold … (11 comments)

guns: TIME I ALMOST GOT KILLED DOING A BPO part 1 - 07/02/12 11:15 PM
YEARS AGO, my office sent me to see an office building that someone had said they either wanted built exactly that way or purchased close to it. I was to photo the place and gather data for a BPO. I go to the building and park. On the way to the main entrance, I start taking pictures of the underground structure and the parking area. As I am finished with my 4th shot, a woman comes out of the underground building very aggressive and rapidly runs up to me and loudly says
WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE
I had my camera in one hand and … (2 comments)

guns: MY GUN, MY PONY, and..... me - 11/10/10 01:50 AM
The nation of which we are all so proud was built on this very title...this sentiment. It is a strong one. First off, during our formative years, a gun was mandatory for your survival both as protection and as a way to forage for food. Guns were part of the family and treated accordingly...
MY HORSE IS A GOOD LISTENER AND PULLS HIS WEIGHT and mine..
As far as horses go, there is nothing to compare with in regards to you and your horse traversing over hill and dale in every weather known. Both of you share hunger, cold, and pain … (9 comments)
