In every profession, there are people who stand out and they are called professionals. All these convey an extraordinary person in their field. A person who becomes a professional has developed themselves into a proftible marketable value

honesty: IS IT REAL OR A ROBOT? (life theme) - 09/06/16 04:10 AM
Let's get this thought out of the way first. If you want to jump into something with little or no prep, hit the ground running, activate the income flows and get the experience banks flowing then scripting, coaching, seminars, role-playing and all the rest is for you. Do what it takes. I get it

I WANT TO MAKE MONEY
If you choose to get into something for the rate of return, the quick and plentiful buck, to move fast, like lean and mean, they have crash courses for just about anything also called fast track training too. I have met many who are purely … (4 comments)

honesty: WHAT DOES THIS PARAGRAPH MEAN? - 08/21/16 11:20 PM
It is going to happen, has happened and continue to do so. In Real Estate, it is not uncommon to see multi-page documents, several of them that require initialing and signatures and that is just when we get started. After that comes several more, one after another until we reach the land of no more signatures called close of escrow
RULINGS AND WORDS
Within all these documents are boiler plate or standard language as well as specifics that have to be there because someone somewhere a long time ago challenged this subject paragraph and the courts ruled the current paragraph wording necessary. But then, what does … (5 comments)

honesty: ALL I NEED IS A LICENSE? - 08/18/16 10:16 AM
If there ever was an industry where you can walk right into it Real Estate just may qualify. But then, what do you really know? The person who thinks that they can do this while they do other things or just try their luck may or may not succeed. Consider however what about the client or principal that has or will literally bet the farm as in "all in" and either wants to buy or sell and they choose or end up with the newbie
YOU GOT ONE!
Well your Broker will be happy and of course you will too. But I can't … (8 comments)

honesty: TRUMP CLINTON & US - 08/15/16 08:53 AM
I read five newspapers a day. It gives me a very broad and general overview of what is going on and where. I find it interesting at how the different papers put their own slant on things. Reporting the news is one thing. Slanting it is another and whoever is doing the reporting does the slanting. The question is how bad, why and what for?
THE SLANT!
All sources of news do this. If they have an agenda and they want to advance it, it is delivered ever so subtly in their reporting. It is not hard to spot because after several days, you spot the bias and … (12 comments)

honesty: GIVE ME TRUTH - 07/23/16 11:59 PM

Truth be told: Henry David Thoreau remains one of my favorites. You must do your self a good service and visit with this mans quotes and philosophies as they will enrich you and cause you great reason to pause and then admire the depth, breath and width of life and all its mysteries
“How vain it is to sit down to write when you have not stood up to live.” is another one that moves me every which way. Here we get insight into his Psyche and how what one shares should come from the mastery of the inner places which only … (28 comments)

honesty: WHAT MAKES YOU TICK? - 05/08/16 12:38 AM
I am not speaking of a person who we refer to as being ticked off. NO. It is more toward who are you and what moves you? What gets your attention, response or reaction and why? It is a slang for wanting to get to know you. Can you tell the book by its cover? With people who hide, this becomes too challenging. Becoming more of a transparent person has many benefits for all
THE WHO YOU?
Over the decades and in the many different generations, people have always wanted to find an outlet to express themselves and for a good purpose too. They … (17 comments)

honesty: TO FOOL ME YOU MUST FOOL YOU - 04/21/16 12:49 AM
This little subtle part of the human nature is alive & well in everyone & must be tamed & finally put down. When you become aware that your "honesty" levels are not answering to your character or rising to the respect of another, then yours needs some tweaking and maintenance. I am speaking about a type of demeanor that is less than honest. The personal one where we answer what people want to hear
WHITE LIES
Being sincere, saying what you mean & risking taking a position is hard for many to do for all the different reasons one might have whether real or imagined. … (2 comments)

honesty: SEEING IS BELIEVING - 03/26/16 12:03 AM
Watching my neighbor have some work performed one day on his house, I had a chance to notice the workman. My house is situated in such a way that I can see quite a bit. The workman was there on a Saturday & Sunday for 10 hours & never missed a beat. He worked hard without supervision too
SELF-EVIDENT
Same thing the following weekend and after that too. To see someone so committed, working non-stop made me stop and take notice. Seeing is believing. It needed nothing added to it. This guy was his best advertising by giving his best. It was self-evident which is the … (3 comments)

honesty: ASK FOR THIS (spiritual theme) - 03/06/16 12:43 AM
This may take courage so perhaps to ask for courage first is in order. The title of the post refers to INPUT and FEEDBACK in regards to yourself, your person and your character. Aren't you curious or interested about what people really think of you or about you? I am not speaking of approval but their experience
PAINFUL BUT REWARDING
If you have a yearning to want to grow as a person both professionally or personally, then input and feedback is guaranteed to get you there and pay-off without paying into it except for one thing. The risk of asking for it or wanting to earnestly know can cause willing … (2 comments)

honesty: LYING (spiritual themes) - 02/06/16 11:48 PM
The subject of lying or LIES is interesting unto its self. We were never meant to be able to lie nor was a space or dynamic created in us to receive, handle or give rest to LIES within ourselves in any way. It is an intruder dynamic that continually strives to make a home in mankind and has an agenda that mirrors the host but follows the lie-maker, or the prince of this world
LET ME IN
In the realm of lying; cheating, stealing, and other questionable and unwelcome related intrusions are dark, uninvited forces all working together to form a strong & united front supporting … (12 comments)

honesty: DO YOU OR DON'T YOU KNOW? - 01/18/16 11:23 PM
It all comes down to this whoever you are and whatever you do. I am not saying that you have to know it all. NO. I am saying that when it is your turn & your time to respond, input, engage, perform or produce, be just as clear on what you don't know as what you do know. Why? Honesty sells and seals all deals
WHAT WORLD DO YOU LIVE IN?
At first, a professional has a feeling or thought that says they must know everything especially when put on the spot. Well this has been tried and tested and it doesn't hold up in … (14 comments)

honesty: THEN WHY DID YOU HIRE ME? - 01/05/16 11:41 PM
I have a client right now that doesn't do Real Estate for a living. However, they know that they need an agent to come and go in the world of Real Estate and for that I give them a professional nod. But I am perplexed. You see this client knows they need an agent to hit the Real Estate ground running but after that, they think they know what is best...as in always getting their way
HIRE A LICENSE?

I am talking about an interesting fine line here between me servicing the customer client and them just wanting to use an agent's license for what … (15 comments)

honesty: WE ARE ALL BUYING & SELLING - 11/28/15 11:47 PM
What are you selling? The more traditional way of putting this question is "what do you do for a living"? How about "what is your profession or livelihood? The point is that we do give and we do take and we need to do this as it is not practical for one person to do all things. We must outsource which means we shop or buy what we need or want at times
BARTER
It started out, simply enough, thousands of years ago with trading services for services. A farmer, who had need of a doctor, and a doctor who had need of food, would simply exchange … (9 comments)

honesty: YOU GET THIS NO MATTER WHAT - 11/13/15 10:49 PM
I have experimented with this subject over the decades and I have found what works consistently over time and in every-ones favor too. It is simply this. I TRUST YOU whoever you are and BELIEVE YOU whatever the circumstance is until I have a reason not to. You see, YOU control these dynamics. I only observe you when you do. I don't doubt what I see or hear either. That's why it works!
CARE-FREE
Being able to enter a situation, event, relationship or scenario without bias or prejudice and relying on the experience in the moment is one of the purest ways to experience life as intended. It allows one to … (32 comments)

honesty: ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER - 07/25/15 06:17 AM
A master archer picks up the tools of their trade, focuses and then takes aim. Ffffffffft thump! Bulls-eye! The archer has spoken his trade talk. Go to any emergency room and they have a trauma staff ready to go into action. Bring them a problem and they will stabilize it. Same with CPA's, Lawyers and such. Where am I going with all this?
RESULTS DON'T LIE
The proof is in the pudding if you will. Actions taken by people and professionals alike have to show a result. Did your involvement make a difference and if hired, did you do your job? It is not necessarily you that should … (9 comments)

honesty: THE SCARECROW ADMITTED IT - 01/14/15 10:58 PM
He not only came clean, he made up a song about it much to his credit. That actually led to him meeting others (Dorothy, tin man and lion) who eventually led to his solution and result. He just simply came to the reality of he didn't know and why! I don't know can be an attractive state to be in until you do know
STOP THE BLUFF
To people who fudge, make-up or engage gibberish to disguise the fact that they don't know are fooling themselves. In the earthly parlance it is called double-talk. WHY? Because since it is not truth, it is necessary to have to repeat … (14 comments)

honesty: A FRIEND WOULDNT DO THAT - 01/07/15 03:52 AM
I worked with a nice fellow (non-licensed) for a few years never having an occasion to butt heads. We both had lots of work and activity to keep us busy enough and I want to add that we were professionals about how we conducted ourselves. Then, one day out of the blue, my friend got a promotion. I was happy for him
REALLY REAL......REAL ESTATE
He was worthy of the rewards of working hard. One day he says to me rather irritably, I need you to look up some things on the MLS. I said sure but it wont be until … (5 comments)

honesty: ETHICS AND MORALS WORK WELL UNTIL THEY DON'T - 11/19/14 11:09 PM
During the World Wars which were new to everyone all over this planet, you were never to cooperate with the enemy upon being captured. However, it was decided at some point that name, rank and serial number was relevant and necessary. On anything else no matter how trivial, you were told to clam up!
EASIER SAID THEN DONE
That was the rule and men lived by it out in the open but in secret and circumstances, another dynamic took place. They were tested on these beliefs.Torture changed all that and men broke and talked. Shamed for the conduct but also perplexed as to … (2 comments)

honesty: WHY BEING REASONABLE PAYS OFF - 09/06/14 06:33 AM
Simply because if there is a problem that you cannot see and should know about, being reasonable allows it to visit with you, to approach you and allow you to clean it up and re-direct it on a better course and outcome. Being UNREASONABLE is your argument to keep the whole thing, right or wrong and if it doesn't come in as planned...the first person to consult with would be the one in the mirror
PRIDE
Its hard for a person of pride to admit anything wrong or even entertain it. But that is the real problem. Being a person of pride. One of … (5 comments)
