There are still quite a few foreclosures out there where the borrower in default has not paid on the mortgage for years...yes plural. It makes you wonder what the lender or the investor is thinking? I ran into one just yesterday that will go four years easy

Banks are not business people but instead money lenders. Even so we find that they cannot even pull the trigger on the established procedure to turn over properties sooner and quicker. In addition to this lack of performance, another dynamic kicks in during this time too

I am suspecting that the banks held up and are holding up inventory in a strategic move some seen coming from 2-3 years ago. Think about this statement for just a moment.  It makes sense to freeze the product thus controlling supply and demand and creating the value after that. Only someone who has that much gold can make the rules such as this one. He who has the gold rules....

Homes that were once mortgaged and valued (real or otherwise) at one price have fallen to 60% of that price in today's market place and in pockets through out the United States. Prior to that, everyone wondered how anyone just starting out could even afford to participate. Now add low interest rates, lots of inventory and we have the ingredients for a new cycle

inventory: WANT MONEY IN THE BANK HIRE AGENTS TO MOVE INVENTORY - 01/16/12 04:40 AM
I said this years ago and of course anything that makes sense is ignored by the banking industry. Hire and put on point experienced REAL ESTATE agents to move your inventories. What is so hard to understand here? An agent brings to bear what they do for living and does it without wasting time too
