microcasm: THE MANY HATS OF LIFE (ponder life) - 01/18/23 11:21 AM
I remember the times gone by when presented and occasionally miscellaneous items come up for review. I reminisce, ponder or have a tear or two as they parade by. I am able to say at this time that the statement: brevity of life is no myth. It just flies by the by until I go bye & bye?
THE MANY HATS OF LIFE
I remember being a rape counselor for about two years in the city I was doing business in at the time. What made me gravitate toward this, who can say for sure. The ache, pain & learning curve from this … (7 comments)

microcasm: WHY-US VI-RUS - 05/03/20 06:59 AM
Stop and consider how powerful this little virus invader is because it says so not because we say so. The balance of life on this planet is constantly in shift and check and has been doing this for billions of years. Countless life-forms have come and gone some visible others invisible having their brief way for that moment then, now, and in times to come
DINOSAURS
About 65 million years ago, Dinosaurs lived and had a run of life for about 100 million years. Who can fathom these references of time? We often look into space and view stars and planets not realizing their age and circumstances … (8 comments)

microcasm: THE MATH of LIFE (existence ponder) - 01/01/19 06:45 AM
Mathematics long established for its predictability and accuracy can be applied to anything known. So that you don't think too hard and wander away from the posting, just see how easy and user friendly the math of one and one equals two is. It is ageless, repeats and remains a solid foundation to build upon. How do you think we got the car, TV, appliances and even a successful trip to the moon and LIFE?
LIFE MATH
So it is with the moment  you are in also known as the now or present. It is an everlasting piece of the mathematical puzzle we … (8 comments)

microcasm: WHAT IS SEEING? (awe & wonder) - 01/15/16 11:44 PM
The eyes are the windows for the soul. We take for granted this complex mechanism of capturing what the eye sees courtesy of light bouncing off the eye-lens and then forming a picture onto the brain. It is done so well that it cannot be measured nor considered intrusive. In other words, its done without notice to self for our specific use and purposes at random.
EYE PLACEMENT
The positioning of our vision-capturing apparatus is placed forwardly on our skulls capturing a large view and even allowing for depth perception and peripheral vision as well. In nature, the eye placement has quite a bit to do … (14 comments)

microcasm: BIG AND LITTLE LIFE PICTURE - 10/29/15 06:59 AM
As we, as individuals go about our daily business living our lives, this is as it should be. This little self-contained unit called (your name here) has events pop up on its radar and they become our focus for a short period of time. Then, we address it all, wrap things up, power down and settle in. One more day spent and a potential promise in the wings for another to come
THE BIG PICTURE TOO
This is a fascinating subject. While we are living the microcosm (the little) aspects of our private little worlds, at the same time, we are also part of the … (4 comments)

microcasm: "FOOLS GOLD" IS NAMED AFTER THE THOSE THAT MINE IT - 05/27/13 12:55 AM
FOOLS GOLD is a group of minerals and ores that when they get together, they mimic Gold. It is usually found on the surface and in places not hard to reach. But REAL GOLD traces are usually found on the surface too and panning for it allows you to pursue quantities if you go deeper. Eventually, sluices are formed which allows greater washing which allows deeper access to more gold...
But that is still not where we want to go. We are searching for Hard-Rock deposits of Gold often referred to as the MOTHER LODE. Through all that hard work, digging deep, … (8 comments)
