What does this really mean? You are not alone if you do not know even though you are familiar with it because you have heard it or even used it. The premise is that the person who is receiving the benefit wants it or you want it for them. Consequently the one giving or wanting to give it believes it is worthy or necessary to be given. This happens more than we care to admit i.e. that another hears what they want to hear or what was sent and that's their experience. Often the one sending takes for granted that just because it was said their work is done. Of course if something doesn't go well, their fallback position is the famous cliche of... Everyone has an opinion. Many people even give it freely and it promotes good conversation to whatever the topic is. However, if one is asked to speak publicly or go on record as in being held accountable to what they are saying, the whole thing takes on a different demeanor THE PROFESSIONAL OPINION If you are a professional and are licensed, when you are talking to someone in that capacity and relationship, whatever you say can be used to hold you accountable especially if it results in someone doing what you said to do or not do...You are representing your profession. Just what is a mistake anyway? We can agree that things didn't go right for someone on something at some-point and it is now up for examination. We can be under scrutiny by others or assessing ourselves. You see there are different types of mistakes and each word fits a certain specific mistake dynamic HERE'S THE REVIEW 1. Take boo-boo.
