pledge of allegiance: THE OATH (life swear) - 11/02/19 11:17 AM
Two people decide to marry. Ages ago it was marked by ceremony that represented a significant change in ones life. At some point, the people involved decided to make a promise out of it or an oath something that when given is the ultimate marker for any subject, product or deed. An oath was a high commitment to high-ness and a person made a pledge toward that height
Marriage oath: Consisting of allegiance to one under various circumstances. In sickness or in health, richer or poorer, for better or for worse, have to hold, love & cherish and get this kicker: TILL DEATH DO … (20 comments)

pledge of allegiance: PATRIOTIC SONGS IN SCHOOL - 07/18/19 01:43 PM
Short post to pay homage to patriotic songs that we don't hear too much about. I grew up with these songs as it was required singing in 5th and 6th grade public schools back in the 50/60's. They had a auditorium period and the principal of all people would go to the head of the auditorium and conduct the singing of one song after another
THEY WEREN'T JUST WORDS
Even in my young, innocent and naive mind and body I was able to sense at a tender age the enthusiasm, excitement and the "want to" in everyone in that room enjoying themselves. It was voluntary … (9 comments)

pledge of allegiance: THE FLAG SPEAKS IF YOU LISTEN - 07/04/18 03:48 PM
Take a moment to really notice our flag. Pause long enough to reflect. Millions of others over the decades have done so too. It becomes very personal. It is no accident..... to be sure
It is truly magnificent. Treat it, and each other with the respect it so richly deserves
THE FLAG BINDS US

pledge of allegiance: AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL (patriotic post) - 09/26/17 06:04 PM
America the beautiful; I didn't always know this but the day it came to me changed my life for the good. How? I joined the bigger picture and became involved in something so grand and cherished that I counted it my good fortune from that day on. How and why we come to this reality is different for all of us but based on results...we all come to it
LIBERTY
It is hard to argue liberty. We tend to take it for granted but take it away from someone and they will raise the roof for themselves or others. How can one have life but … (12 comments)

pledge of allegiance: CONGRESS STEP UP OR STEP DOWN - 01/04/12 02:36 AM
If the people who died for this country were allowed to come back for just one session of Congress, perhaps they would not have given their all after hearing and seeing what these people do with this great sacrifice of theirs. Shame on Congress for being complacent and asleep. The price paid for you to come together is a high one
ABOVE THE LAW
Now, as with corporations, when you reach the coveted top or inner circle, you are allowed privileges and to renegotiate the rules in your favor. You are beyond approach and reproach and you quickly learn how to … (6 comments)
