Two people decide to marry. Ages ago it was marked by ceremony that represented a significant change in ones life. At some point, the people involved decided to make a promise out of it or an oath something that when given is the ultimate marker for any subject, product or deed. An oath was a high commitment to high-ness and a person made a pledge toward that height Marriage oath: Consisting of allegiance to one under various circumstances.
