That's what we are all looking for and expecting when pursuing what we want or when someone is pitching their wares, products or services i.e. does it make sense? One of my favorite subjects and who hasn't been on one side or the other of this subject? For that matter, try to define it as in explaining it to someone who has not heard of it before. Who amongst us wants to be sold constantly on anything instead of being told first and then to buy? Being hawked at requires a taker, at the very least the pitchman must have a bait that sits on a hook and that requires having someone that has a want or a need of some sort. I remember when online shopping was introduced many moons ago. There was absolutely NO WAY I was going to shop online. There were so many concrete beliefs in place that I thought were insurmountable. Take giving your credit number and what goes with it. You didn't want that "out there" in cyberspace. I have been helping a friend shop for a used high end luxury car ($$$) and have talked to dealers, private parties some local and some across the United States too. With the Internet, you can now buy and shop for something from anywhere really. Pertaining to cars, you can have them shipped to you at a cost too. Long ago retailers discovered that if they dealt with this part of the human nature by allowing refunds, sales would improve and they did. The fear or hesitation of purchasing and having remorse was off set by the fact that you could return the pruchase and no harm and no fowl.
