I won't keep you in suspense & instead reveal now, the answer to the title of this posting. It is COMPOUND GUILT! Guilt, that has not been resolved & is multiplying while YOU ignore or choose not to change your ways. No one can escape their very own signal or prompting from their conscience. I bet if we would run background checks starting from 10 years old and forward on everyone in Washington DC that is in government we would have 90% vacancy and be even be challenged to fill those positions. Why? By haunt I am referring to something that comes back to visit and it is not Casper the friendly ghost but instead the ghost of regret and payback along with why did I say, do or write what I did! At the time, these haunting-ghosts yet to be cannot be seen or heard but go to work if given the chance. Let me preface by saying; Lying, cheating, stealing and quite a few other questionable conducts and actions all work. What I mean is they wouldn't be around and continued to be used if they didn't. It is getting caught before, during or after wards that bothers the perpetrator (s) & testifies against the dark tactic (s) itself. Stop to appreciate this ditty of a statement and when you have heard it or used it. It does make a point and makes one wonder how or why it is being used. Everyone in jail or prison is trying to get out. No need to take a poll because 100% agree that they don't want to stay or be there regretting the circumstance that caused it too. While we are at it, visit any courtroom of your choice and you will get instantly what you shouldn't do or want to end up in THE CLASSROOMS OF LIFE If there ever was a deterrent to help people BEHAVE themselves, jail, prison, hospitals and courts of law stand out very well. Sooner or later and at some point, life will teach you a very important lesson that is like a hard pill to swallow when it is first introduced namely that you could be the problem. Until we understand that we are always on a learning curve, it is convenient to blame others when things don't go right. But why start there? I WOULD SEE IT? Long ago retailers discovered that if they dealt with this part of the human nature by allowing refunds, sales would improve and they did. The fear or hesitation of purchasing and having remorse was off set by the fact that you could return the pruchase and no harm and no fowl.
