resolution: BREAKDOWN MEANS CHANGE APPROACH - 08/08/19 01:16 PM
We have methods, procedures and established ways of doing most everything unless we go custom and we then all agree to that. In our established ways and means, when all goes well it ends well as expected. But what if there is a hiccup, a failure or worse an unexpected human nature twist that adds fuel to the fire or suffocates it? What then? When something doesn't go right WE must keep going until the reason we came together is realized
BEWARE OF THIS
Doing what doesn't work and has just been demonstrated not to and trying to revive or use the same method over again? … (3 comments)

resolution: LITTLE GIRL LOST AND FOUND STORIES - 01/27/19 10:45 AM
I was at the San Diego Zoo walking around this huge Zoo and saw a little girl standing all alone and in a state of want. I approached her with my wife and she was eager to share but could not. Why? First of all, she was Chinese and I suspected did not speak English. Secondly, she was a little girl about 3 who could not share her feelings at this stage
FATHERHOOD AND MOTHERHOOD
The parent in my wife and I came out. By assuring her with smile, gentle words and specifically reducing myself to her level (on my knees), we were … (15 comments)

resolution: POINT OF VIEW PRICELESS (ponder this) - 10/03/17 07:26 AM
Haven't you heard it said over and over again that there are always two sides to every story? In fact, we now know there are many sides and if one holds court, conducts an investigation and explores any event, the truest picture is recalled and submitted for our assessment and analysis. Failure to use this system can cause injustice and leaves us in a state of want
POINT OF VIEW
"I never looked at it that way" is often the statement made (in humility too) from people who are calm & reviewing a situation or episode. Often we are too quick to react instead … (26 comments)

resolution: CUSTOMER SERVICE (the dynamics) - 08/29/17 08:54 AM
One of my favorite subjects and who hasn't been on one side or the other of this subject? For that matter, try to define it as in explaining it to someone who has not heard of it before. You see it has a purpose for both parties and if engaged correctly promotes well-being, repeat business and satisfaction to the parties. If not engaged, it cries out and can come with consequences for all involved as well
 IS CUSTOMER SERVICE NECESSARY?
Take for instance please & thank you. It is not necessary to say these words but look how they help when used or hurt when … (2 comments)

resolution: THE PUBLIC & REAL ESTATE AGENTS - 01/04/16 12:00 AM
I like listening to people wherever I go but not intruding or eaves-dropping. NO. However, you can overhear someone without wanting to at times and an interest in common may come up. That's when I listen in for that short period. In other occasions, I ask a specific question to get answers to a subject.
BAD REAL ESTATE
Anyone who has had a bad experience with a Real Estate agent makes it known and doesn't mince words either. The funny part of it is that they complain mostly about the agent, personally, who is the insult and then the transaction involved which is the injury. It was the … (7 comments)

resolution: WARNING THIS MAY or MAY NOT HURT - 09/10/15 05:12 AM
I am speaking of when we tell someone, ahead of time, that something is coming perhaps not to your liking and giving you a heads up will better prepare you for what is to come. Now I don't go around telling this to just anyone. There must be a working relationship, cause or reason for this to take place.
THE PREMISE
Before I get into the example, the premise is this: I can either tell you straight out or prep you for it. It is better understood when put this way as far as taking the point even further. I can shake you and this … (6 comments)

resolution: PROBLEM or SOLUTION? - 09/05/15 01:19 AM
Interesting subject to explore PROBLEMS are. Who wants a problem? Who wakes up in the morning and says, oh, I cannot wait for a problem to present itself or come my way? The fact is, just the word PROBLEM invokes our systems to go to ready status. Ready for what? Anything... as we find out what the problem is. Then it begins
PROBLEM SOLVING
How do we teach PROBLEM solving? Its obvious isn't it? We cause, introduce or enter into a real or hypothetical situation that is not on track, under-performing, poses as a threat or interferes with our life journey. Then, an interesting event takes place. … (2 comments)

resolution: AGENTS DISCIPLINE YOURSELF OR SOMEONE WILL - 09/18/14 05:44 AM
The first part of the year started out pretty quiet. That told me that something was brewing for sure. Sure enough, when it rains it sometimes pours.  Now, I am busy with complaints coming before me as I sit on the professional standards hearing panel. Agent versus agent, broker vs broker, public versus all and no one is wrong?
WE HAVE A MELTDOWN
I have been doing this for years. One thing that stands out is the poor communications between the parties especially when they don't agree. Instead of upping the communications, problem solving and expanding on the different points of view, a total breakdown … (9 comments)

resolution: TO THINE OWN WHINE BE TRUE? - 07/23/14 04:54 AM
Whine all the time? Many voice their uneasiness, disappointment, discontentment by complaining. They are not far from the truth because the first step to growth and change is to acknowledge its needed. Its the second step were people falter or never progress toward. Look, wherever you go, there is going to be room for improvement on everything you see, feel and experience.
WHINE THEN.... GO TO WORK
Learning how to navigate through it all as you go using trial, error, and do-over, patience and even closing one eye from time to time will help you more than letting the stress of the imperfection invade your well being or advancement … (6 comments)

resolution: IT WASNT BEAUTY THAT KILLED THE BEAST IT WAS COMMISSIONS - 12/16/13 04:45 AM
I recently sat in a hearing where there was a commission dispute. It involved no less than four agents, two principals, a bank, several buyers and finally a hearing panel. WHY? Because of the monies involved and the people who want them at all costs
HERE IS ONE REPULSIVE WORD
You see it everywhere you go but some people handle it better than others. GREED. Look at the word for just more than a second or two. It is not an attractive or inviting word but it has made itself at home in many a person on many a subject matter. GREED

resolution: IN THE LAND OF MANY PROFESSIONALS WHO RULES? - 10/05/13 01:31 AM
In the land of the blind, we know the one eye man rules. Two eyed man gets elected president. How about in the land of Real Estate where in your neck of the woods there are multiple professionals conducting business? I ask you first here and now, why would I choose you to do business with? I will say this. It is wise to have answer on this question far in advance of it being asked
RESOLUTION OF FACT
The first thing you will notice when people begin to answer this is they tend to argue rather than state. In a … (27 comments)
