respect: REMEMBER TO ROW ROW ROW YOUR BOAT - 09/16/13 02:15 AM
GENTLY down the stream. Whats everyone in such a rush over? Why are we not enjoying the journey with movement directed toward quality not quantity. Then, the MERRILY MERRILY...which is high spirited fun, gaiety and festivity without regard for the future but respect for the now kicks in...Then, LIFE IS BUT A DREAM....comes true and worth living
ROWING WITHOUT KNOWING
Wild rowing of the boat while having its advantages doesn't deliver the tranquility or satisfaction of the journey. Furthermore, rowing against each other doesn't bring us together either or produce the results we all want. A focused rowing with a purpose … (3 comments)

respect: THE MEANING OF A BURGER AND FRIES - 05/21/13 11:33 PM
This bares repeating...When I order a burger (with onions) and fries with lots of ketchup and then begin to enjoy the whole experience, there are times when I think of all the young men killed in wars who never came back or even started to live...I then eat with gratitude and... when I wipe my mouth, I wipe a tear or two as well....
GRATITUDE
You see it all comes down to a simple in the moment experience which I am calling LIFE. In another example, a guy gets out of jail after being locked up for years and years. He visits the … (21 comments)

respect: WHAT IS IT ABOUT PLEASE THANK YOU & YOUR WELCOME - 04/24/13 02:24 AM
Manners...What a great subject to explore, give as well as receive and want to know more about. Moms think it so important that they make it part of your growing up. The business world respects it, the personal world takes note and manners is even welcomed and known globally and if that isn't enough, they can be practiced in any occasion and under all circumstances too
PLEASE...HEAR ME OUT
Please...When this word is used either before or after in a sentence, it has the power to get ones attention, to open doors, to level the playing fields and to get or … (6 comments)

respect: WILD WEST CODES MADE GOOD SENSE - 03/31/13 11:26 PM
In the days of the wild frontier, you can break many laws known or unknown, but these you did not or you could end up paying with your life. Every person came to know these rules, every jury, judge, and lawman too. If not paid for with your life, you are a social outcast wherever you go. Saddle up and lets visit some of these protocols
THE CODE OF THE WEST
1. A horse thief was not tolerated by anyone. Even touching another horse required permission.

2. No back shooting anyone. It was murder and you got hanged for it.

respect: SHOULD THE REAL ESTATE AGENT DRESS UP? - 03/26/13 03:59 AM
I make allowances for people who work all day and don't have time to change clothes or spruce -up when I meet up with them. To be put them at ease, I tell them not to dress and that I will be casual depending on the meeting. This is so they do not spend any energy on this subject, but feel relaxed. However, doesn't certain business practices set the dress standards?
COVER-UP HERE PLEASE
Some people take it too far...I have had appointments where people are not appropriately dressed at all. Women with the low-cut blouse or the see-through distracts from … (8 comments)

respect: CODES AND WHAT THEY DO - 01/04/13 06:50 AM
As agents and Realtors, we are all aware of the Code of Ethics and it is a nice little set of awareness principals to do business by and live a good life while doing it. The banks should have a similar code of ethics, but that is another post. On codes, I like the one that the wild west was run on.
THE CODE YOU LIVE BY
The unwritten codes are the best ones. Those are the ones that everyone has come to discover and appreciate as well as practice for themselves and they live them everyday. Others feel the same … (4 comments)

respect: DONT FORGET ME I AM HERE TOO - 07/22/12 06:25 AM
I don't understand how anyone can walk into a room and not acknowledge who is there. We have all seen it too. Someone walks in, says hello to their friend, fellow worker, family or pal and ignores the person that person is with. For the "CHOPPED LIVER" ignored person standing there, it remains hurtful and for many it is a link to their past where they were ignored and disrespected as kids
BE IT KNOWN
All it takes is an hello, eye contact, a smile and everyone in the room is honored. Or, start with one and work your way through until everyone … (2 comments)

respect: WHAT A BURGER AND FRIES WITH KETCHUP CAN MEAN - 06/06/12 12:08 AM
When I order a burger (with onions) and fries with lots of ketchup and then begin to enjoy the whole experience, there are times when I think of all the young men killed in wars who never came back or even started to live...I then eat with gratitude and... when I wipe my mouth, I wipe a tear or two as well....

respect: PEOPLE WHO KNOW AND PEOPLE WHO ARE LEARNING - 02/28/12 08:00 AM
I am working with a professional Heating and AC man right now in a rental. Property Management is very educational even like college courses. I learn so much about a lot of things especially when I work with the different trades. This guy answers every question I put to him without hesitation or double talk. He knows things
MY QUESTIONS ARE LIKE A CAN OPENER
My several questions opened this guy up to spill his guts out and talk to me. HE DID. He explained that when turning on a forced air heating unit, there are several start-up safety check & balance … (2 comments)

respect: WOMEN ARE TO BE RELISHED NOT RAVAGED SAYS PEARLS FOR GIRLS AUTHOR - 12/26/11 05:54 AM
To be appreciated and treated accordingly and to be used up until there is nothing left of you is something men should be looking at with special interest. How can a man truly love a woman if he is using her all the time? Is he helping her or helping himself to her remains one good subject to explore for both men and women
HELPMATE IS A GOOD PLACE TO START
To go anywhere with a friend or relative that you enjoy enhances the experience. How much more then should it be when two people come together and join? The expectations … (0 comments)

respect: EVEN A STOPPED CLOCK GIVES THE RIGHT TIME TWICE A DAY - 10/31/11 03:28 AM
There is good and potential for good everywhere you go. When you find it at work in a human being, every one is encouraged to believe the best about people and to become optimistic while they do. It requires no special effort either. Just going about ones business is an effortless thing to do. In fact, it takes more effort to be dysfunctional than to live correctly
ALL ARE WELCOMED AND CHERISHED
Everyone has worth and value. If you accept the fact that they are here, then that invitation is hard to ignore. The same host invited you to be here … (0 comments)

respect: PEOPLE FIRST THEN BUSINESS - 09/12/11 10:00 AM
What is so unusual about that? If you are selling services, then that is the correct order of the service to be given. The customer must come first, be of prime importance, protected, serviced, and seen to it that they got what was promised. Repeat that as necessary and you just may have a successful business on your hands
THE SYSTEM WORKS EITHER WAY
The reverse is true too. Start taking for granted that people come first and you will slowly see the negative effects of that commonly called the KISS OF DEATH or bad word of mouth. It will take … (7 comments)

respect: LIFE DEMANDS HONORABLE MENTION AND NATURE SOME RESPECT - 08/28/11 03:44 AM
A planet hanging in mid air out in the middle of no-where teeming with multi-billion life forms demands a slow serious appreciating look. You have only to realize that the earth is one of a kind and you are on it. A good reminder is the picture below of a fellow creature making its way through life just like you. It is the superior of its kind

respect: "PEARLS FOR GIRLS"...CAN YOU ENJOY A WOMEN'S COMPANY WITHOUT HAVING TO HAVE HER? - 07/01/11 03:40 AM
When I am around the boys, sometimes a few of them launch into statements of dis-respect on the subject of women. Their comments focus on the use of them and not the value of their contribution. This tells me a lot about the people I am with and I often use it as a good time to remind them of what they are missing out on
THE SUBJECT IS GOOD...THE VALUE IS PRICELESS
A woman can be a good friend, helpmate, associate, partner and confidant. She can practice her skills at home and at large bringing about a better experience for … (0 comments)

respect: WE DONT HAVE TO AGREE.....BUT WE DO NEED TO TALK - 10/25/10 03:07 AM
Robinson Crusoe is a true story of a man marooned on an Island and for the most part alone and in despair. He needed to un-learn and then learn things to survive. During that process, he came to appreciate the thought of the company of another Human Being
COME HITHER AND LET ME ADORN THEE....
You can drive people toward you or away form you. Yes, you do have that power. if you drive them away, you will miss all of their company and contribution. How does that benefit you..? if you would have them gravitate toward you, then you can … (8 comments)
