This statement of itself is far-fetched and even inconceivable but frighteningly accurate as I will reveal with simplicity the truth of this matter. We do well to remind ourselves that the reporting of the news is a business and as a business, they are always selling something. In this case, they prey on emotions, fear and speculation to drive home ordinary points as well as entertainment, shock and controversy. Constant bombardment of news can be harmful as well as addicting too SHOCKING The primary force at work in broadcast news is hypnosis or a form of programming that at first captures your attention willingly and after that holds it as you require more of the same shock. I remember seeing the movie 1984 where the TV screen watches you instead of you watching it. Now, it is normal for your cell phone which has GPS to not only know where you are, but tells others too. You can turn the phone off, but when you turn it on... your tracked! THAT LITTLE DOT They have cameras that are so small and clever (think drop of water) that can be hidden anywhere that record or transmit data unknown to anyone they are monitoring. This is wide spread and you don't hear too much about it but that doesn't mean it is happening either … (7 comments)

Its new and its fun and now everyone can make one. Your the star, the director and the producer and the power of wielding this innovation is real. Television over the years has proved to be able to capture audience and generate revenue...Does that still hold for today? They continue to blow the concept of going to the movies away. For the middle, lower and senior class, it remains slightly out of reach especially in today's economic environment. But something else is missing. There is no memorable occasion associated with going to the movies.
