My view in the backyard this morning before heading out to fill the empty birdfeeders.
By the looks of the tracks and birdfeed on the ground in the snow the deer had a feast last night.
The temperature at the time of these pictures was a big fat 0 and no I am not going swimming today.

The Webster, New York market has remained steady over the last couple of months.
December had a total of two sold homes and an increase of listings from 19 to 23 an 8% increase.
The average days on market has remained the same at 52 and is probably attributed to the holiday season than the weather.
The two homes that sold had been on the market an average 93 days and the average selling price was $150,000 and the list averaged $160,000. This shows the high end market has slowed substantially and should pick up with the longer days and warmer … (4 comments)

Webster, New York and actually all of New York residence's effective Wednesday 12/31/14.
All electronic waste products must be disposed of with the manufacturer of the product or at a state approved collection site.
For a county by county list of sites and times go to: http://www.dec.ny.gov/.
If items are put at roadside or in trash you could be fined up to $100 for each piece of equipment.

This Friday is going to be spent getting some reviews in Yelp as it has a most complete set of reviews available through Application Progamming Interface. Yelp also has more advanced algorithms to filter out paid reviews.Yelp is supposed to a better place for reviews over the paid sites and because my presence was nil a nice listing was lost.
It was also brought to my attention that I should have a few video's about the area in Webster and surrounding towns as well as real estate topics.

It seems this year almost everyone in the neighborhood started on Black Friday with the decorations for Christmas.
The better half generally waits until after the first but wanted the boxes brought up from the dungeon or basement as some call it.
The tree is her creation and the wreath is my job of climbing the ladder to hang.

Saturday's after being out and about showing homes; a listing presentation and getting seller signatures on a contingent offer all I wanted was to mix a Manhattan and kick back for a few moments.
When the door bell rings on the dreaded TV the dogs both bark in unison until they realize no one is at the door; but when the real door bell rings it is bark and see which can knock us over to get to the door.

The swing bridge at the north end of Irondequoit Bay will be open mid morning November 3, 2014 to allow traffic to cross until April 1,2015 when it will close for the boating season again.
This will make it convenient for the people on the east side to head west without detouring over the Bay bridge on the expressway.

They will be hosting a perogy and fish fry dinner starting this friday 10/17/14 from 5:30pm to 9pm and every Friday until further notice.

This weekend in Fairport the Tenth Annual Music and Food Festival will celebrate with local eateries preparing there signature dishes and bands performing at the Lift Bridge Lane. Just finished looking at Realtor Magazine of the eight best areas to sell Real Estate and Webster, New York or Rochester did not make the list!
While it is nice that there is an opinion on just about every subject I will have to disagree with them and say that the area I or you live in is the best area to sell real estate.
Having visited almost every state in the Union I keep coming back to the Rochester/Webster area as it it has a multitude of variety.
