Every three months, I update one of my websites for the Laguna West-Lakeside area of Elk Grove. One area of the website tracks real estate. The updating has been pretty routine the last few times I did this task. Our area has been trending sideways for quite some time. I was recently surprised by a low appraisal of a property that one of my clients is trying to purchase. When I looked at the comps, I was surprised to see how much value the comps were reduced by the appraiser to reflect sales that occured only three months back. This is the main entrance to Lakeside in November. Spring is nice, but I love the fall. The designer picked some great looking trees for the area. The predominant tree in the area is the fruitless pear. It is the vibrant red tree in the center of the picture. The Maple, Oak, Fruitless Plum, Crepe Myrtle and, my favorite, the Chinese Pistache tree are just some of the trees featured in our community.
