Pickleball, it is not just your father's sport any more! Oasis Park-Elk Grove's Best Pickleball Courts There are a few places in Elk Grove to play pickleball, but the best place to play is at the Oasis Park. There are 6 courts and they have excellent lights for playing at night. My wife and I have been playing here since the park opened and we have found that everyone playing here is very friendly for both beginners and those that have been playing for a while. Russell, our grandson, is 3! How did that happen so quickly? However it happened, we celebrated on Sunday. It was a fun theme, after the movie Coco. I understand it is a good movie and it is Russell approved so it must be! The Mexican food was catered and very delicious, but the real star of the day was Russell's Cake. It was beautiful, delicious and homemade. There was even a Piñata! Russell took a few wacks at it, but will have to work out for next years attempt.
