I'm putting in a little more time on the internet, and a little less time with showings for a few weeks. I'm surprised at what I'm seeing! The media is actually trying to help us and put a happy face on regarding the housing, lending, and the state of the economy. I have been most positive during this time and other than looking at high unemployment rates for our area, feel that we will be heading in the right direction very soon.

It's Turkey Trot time around the USA and in Wrightsville Beach, NC once again on November 24, 2011. Run or walk the Loop along with the Beals. Dick and Sandy started the Wilmington Turkey Trot 7 years ago, as a way to give back to this wonderful community of Wilmington.
Although actual turkey's do not trot, they probably would have if given the chance. The Turkey Trot is one of the largest Thanksgiving Day events around the country and the trot at Wrightsville Beach is just around the corner. This is one of the best ways to start the day … (1 comments)

Day 60: The Tall Ship is Returning and will anchor at the foot of market Street August 6th , 7th and 8th. . Gear up now and save the time for this event. Free tickets are available to tour both the US Coast Guard Barque Eagle and the Diligence which is set to return to Wilmington August 2nd after its 8 month overhaul in Maryland. Day 54: 4th of July Riverfront Celebration Celebrate Independence Day with music, food and fireworks in Historic Downtown Wilmington! There will be great entertainment provided by the 440th North Carolina Army National Guard Band in Riverfront Park. The fun starts at 5pm to 10pm.....music, food and fireworks starting at 9:05pm from the Battleship North Carolina. You can view the fireworks along the river, Primary viewing of the fireworks will be from downtown. There are many things to do at Airlie Gardens....we will start with the Jazz Festivals....Keep coming back to our facebook page for other fun things to do at Airlie throughout the year. Jones Fish Camp is a great Calabash Restaurant you won't want to miss in the Porters Neck Area of Wilmington. It is hot today....about 90 degrees, sunny, and beautiful...similar to many summer days in this part of the country. I love this area! It has been twelve years in my new adopted home, and I wished we had moved here years ago. Coming from Saratoga, New York, it was not hard to appreciate what this great area has to offer. What does that really mean? In the nosebleed section.....can you see the field from your seat? Can you hear whats going on? Will you actually get a nosebleed? How high is up? Are they worth THAT,....WHAT, your kidding, right? Who cares, it is the SUPER BOWL!
The answers to those questions are forthcoming....how about what is a red eye? The big question is will "THE GAME" live up to the hype, and for me the big one......is going to the SUPER BOWL the ultimate sporting event? I don't know, but I'll let you know.

This is a article for anyone who thinks they may be a procrastinator, or who has procrastinated in the past, or any one who may have said "Someday I will blah, blah, yada, yada........"
