With rents heading sky-high, they are literally throwing money out the window waiting for the day when they can afford their dream home. They don't seem to this day may never come unless they build some equity. The best way to build equity is with a small starter home. In the New York area, that often means a small cooperative or condo. In many cases, they can save hundreds in rent a month since maintenance costs (14 comments)

The Residences at Jefferson Place in Downtown White Plains NY. Jefferson place is a new and very desirable complex located in downtown White Plains. Ichabod’s Landing is name after Ichabod Crane, Washington Irving’s famous character from the “Legend of Sleepy Hollow.” This is relatively new construction that was only available for purchase in 2004. The views from the River Walk are spectacular and I have a few pictures of the area immediately surrounding (4 comments)
