Dane County announces a loan program to assist homeowners who are underwater or unable to pay. This is a federal program called the EHLP, Emergency Homeowner Loan Program . It is designed to help prevent foreclosure. It is a no interest loan of up to $50,000 to eligible homeowners at imminent risk of foreclosure. It appears that the housing market in Madison Wi is heating up. So say reports from the field. Open houses are getting more traffic, and even some offers. Realtor showings, are up too. This is a really good bell weather as home buyers only call a Realtor when they are serious.
We are hearing of multiple offers on some homes. And we are hearing the word profit and profit share banded around the office for the first time in long time. So we know the market activity is here. Spring market is a good thing. Very reassuring, (1 comments)
