A question often asked by many people who have a plan to move homes. My very good friend and colleague at Keller Williams in Madison Wi, Jenny Swain reposted an article on 5 reasons you still need a Realtor.
I thought it a good challenge to come up with 7 of my own reasons to choose a great Realtor. Whether in Madison or anywhere in the US. Yes I meant a great Realtor!

I had a rough week last week. 1 resurrected offer, 2 buyer offers and a listing offer. 2 listing appointments.
Should be a good week, but I felt like something was not quite right.
I think it goes back to me focus on lead generation. I have been calling about 8 hours a week for several weeks and the results can be slow to manifest. So despite the now success, my lead generation is what I was frustrated with.

In a year that all other major companies went backwards, Keller Williams made significant growth. As reported at the Keller Williams Family Reunion, State of the company speech. Given by Mo Anderson and Mark Willis.
Increase in Market Centers, 648 to 682.
Increase in Agent count 72500 to 74962.
Increase in Gross Commission Income (GCI) up 8.4%. In a market which was down 20%. This represents a 36% increase in market share.

Yes it is official, Times are a changing!
The Realtor Board of South Central Wisconsin, has formally created a "Green committee". Our first committee will be next week. Details of the group's website and the meeting go here
A group of Green Realtors representing a range of companies, have been meeting for about 6 months, we have canvassed the Board of Realtors, and have worked to have a Green say in how things are run.
This will do a huge amount for the Environmental movement in Madison Wisconsin by promoting associated causes to the greater population and to the Realtor community alike.

Check out this wonderful Heritage Heights home. Yes it looks small from the front, but it is surprisingly large once you get inside.
Hence, I took a picture of the sprawling multi level deck and the back view. This is a wonderful place to hang out, especially as the home backs onto Green space, which gives privacy and a feel of being in the trees.
