blessings: Just Loosen Your Belt

I can't say as that I know why Timmothy wrote this strip last year unless Carol cooked up a really fine meal that day (which is entirely possible as she is a really good cook). I am also not sure why he drew Titus with the X on his eyes.. he's not dead, just stuffed. Our table was not quite as full as the one above for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years but it certainly had more than any one of us or the sum of all of us could possibly eat. Have you ever looked into a packed fridge like this and thought, or said, there is nothing to eat? This post really has NOTHING to do with food or snacking. It's not even about blogging but it was sparked by a friends post I read minutes ago. Here is a clue. Another one of my favorite blogging friends has a weekly post called "counting my blessings". The post I read tonight, and I agreed with, was about drawing a blank when it comes to things to post about. We all get writers block once in awhile. All To Often We Plan On "Getting Through" The Day. I'm certainly guilty of hoping for a light and easy day from time to time but most of the time I plan on a "hard" day of work. There is something very gratifying about getting everything accomplished you hoped to, or even better, getting more done than you expected. Realtors always look forward to days with a closing. A closing means a paycheck and the relief of knowing that one BIG task has come to a beautiful end. I had a GREAT day today and none of it was planned or scheduled. Out of the (11 comments)
