Let's start October out with a MASSIVE dose of positivity!
#1) VOLUNTEER! I love going to the Norsk Hostfest every year. Admittance is a bit spendy but it's free for volunteers. Volunteer shifts are only 4 hours and you can stay all day. It's a week long party celebration and many people volunteer every day. Volunteering to do something good helps make me feel more positive.

Scandinavian Festival, Ticket Sales Start Next Week!
The Norsk Hostfest runs from September 28th through October 1st 2011.
This year I've vowed to keep everyone well enough informed about Norsk Hostfest that if you would like to come join the massive 4 day party you will have plenty of time to plan.
A week from today (05/10/2011) you will be able to purchase your ticket in person, on line, or by phone. One thing well worth blogging about within Minot North Dakota is an event called The Norsk Hostfest. The Scandinavion heritage of this area is emphesised through out the Minot community but this event in particular brings us visiters from all around the World. This event is much like the State Fair in the manor that it hosts many top billing stars over the 10 day period of celebration. Also it is held on the North Dakota State Fair Grounds.
