I don't remember which Star Trek Movie they introduced the The U.S.S. Excelsior NX-2000 in but I do remember that it had Transwarp Drive. How cool would that be? If you are a sci-fi fan then you know that a Transporter disassembles your molecules in one spot and then in the blink of an eye reassembles them in another spot. "Beam me up Scotty". If you are not familiar with this philosopher it's because she hasn't been born yet, she is from what ever century Star Trek The Next Generation is in. In reality she is Majel Barrett, wife of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry. She played Nurse Chapel in the original Star Trek series and then Lwaxana Troi, mother of Deanna Troi, in the Next Generation series.
