No it’s not November 24th
 It doesn’t need to be Thanksgiving to give thanks. It’s good to give thanks every day not just to God but to our fellow mankind.
 As I said in a recent post titled Just Doing My Part
 I believe it’s important for us to thank merchants and service providers using Google Business reviews when they deserve it,
BUT
What about family? Does it have to be Thanksgiving Day before our loved ones hear us thank God for their existence?
 It shouldn’t be.

I am not sure if I post a Thank You to Active Rain every year when we are giving thanks as a challenge but if I don't I should and here is why:
I used to love writing in my High School years and I excelled at it. Honestly, I was so good at it that my Creative Writing teacher, Ms. Peggy, stole about half my work. With a little modification she later published it as her own. I was in love with Ms Peggy (whole nother story) and I'm thankful for her as well.

My 1st entry into Debe Maxwell, CRS November Gratitude Challenge is that I'm thankful for knowing who to thank.
Having had what I think were Christian parents growing up I'm a little surprised that when I look back that they perpetuated some of the common myths about luck to their children. I'm glad I never have clouded my children's minds with such superstitions. You know: find a penny, a four leaf clover, a horse shoe, and my favorite... the appendage of a leporidae (a rabbit's foot) and you will have good luck.

... and even tell you about Him and my Faith in His Son Jesus Christ.
About an hour from now my son and I will be headed to a men's Bible study at the church of our choice and at the faith of our choice, to openly discuss the Word Of God.
While this has been the privilege of those in the United States of America since it's founding I don't, and no one should take this freedom for granted.
