As a proud Dad I have been watching the Newspaper like a hawk to see if Timmothy made the Dean's List for his performance during the Fall semester. Finally, in today's paper, and also a certificate in the mail, there it was. Even better than the Dean's List, Timmothy made the President's Honor Roll. As many of you have seen his cartooning skills have really been improving BUT he also took Economics and English classes as well. Aside from my children my favorite artist is M. C. Escher. Whether you recognize the name or not I promise you have seen his art work. I love his self portrait and I have a large print of his in our art gallery as well (pictured below). Here are a few more fun eye tricks BUT I am actually posting for a whole other reason which I will pick up in a minute.

Maybe I should say Hooray I am NOT talking about a wet T-Shirt contest. What I am talking about is that Tina entered a logo/design contest where as the winners design will be featured on the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design school T-Shirts. The specifics of the design were that it features the schools mascot, a River Rat, in the design. Not only is it an honor to win but the winner also receives a generous cash award. My 14 Year Old Daughter Puts Me To Shame... when it comes to making a video. I've been pretty proud of the way I've inched along in making videos for some of my blogs and to post on my own website... till today. My 14 year old daughter, Tina, put together a little video for her language Arts class. She has NEVER made a video before. She dreamed up the idea for the video, directed it (with her brother, herself and mom acting) all after school in an hours time using her iPod as the camera and an app called iMovie.
