Route 316 Our church, Grace Lutheran, is a small "new" church in town with limited volunteers so when we hold Vacation Bible School it is BIG, One Day event (and just half a day at that). The theme this year, Route 315, is a take-off of Route 66 but of course it's Route John 3:16. Just like last year Timmothy and I volunteered to be the food and snack masters. Another cartoon that could have many "moral of the story" lines to it. I am going to use it for a hyper-local post. While you shouldn't eat the date on your calendar your children will be fed at our one day Vacation Bible School. Our church, Grace Evangelical Lutheran (a Wisconsin Lutheran Synod) Church. Grace is a new church and this is only our second VBS but I assure you that it will be well run and a lot of fun for your kids. vbs: Specialist Bob, a Success @ Space Station Salvation

Last Saturday I boarded the Space Station Salvation with about 30 children and a dozen adults as Grace Lutheran Church held it's First Vacation Bible School. It was a one day event and it was a great success for everyone involved. Our little congregation is less than 50 people so to pull this off was a huge task for us... even for a one day event. Just like everyone else I thought I was too busy for something like this. Also as the oldest member of the congregation I thought.... I'm too old for this.
