There are very few "local" events that I feel are worth traveling a thousand miles to or more. I'd even say it's worth taking a plane up to Rollag MN for the Memorial Day weekend to see the LIVING history of the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion. This video is 6 minutes... I know way to long for social media BUT I promise you it's well worth watching. This is an incredible event for every family member. The 55th Annual Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion is this weekend so I expect all Active Rainers to jet right out for the weekend. This is a GREAT family event that lasts all weekend. I will tell you more in a minute but first check out these pictures.
This event is HUGE! It covers many acres and includes 100's of Steam Engines, Tractors, Locomotives, Ships, Steam Shovels, a Steam powered Merry-Go-Round, a Mill, and so so much more. This event is held just outside of a small town of about 20 people and about 30 miles … (0 comments)
