Join Go Green Wilmette in their annual Tree Walk, held this year at Gillson Park in Wilmette. The tour will be guided by a knowledgeable tree person or a tree enthusiast. Last year I attended the event at Mallincrodt Park and the guide was a arborist from a local nursery.
There will actually be several tour guides that will take smaller groups since the turn-out is fairly substantial.

Guided Bird Walks in Gillson Park - Wilmette Put on some comfortable clothes, grab the binoculars and bird books, and head to Gillson Park in Wilmette if you are interested in learning more about birds, both local and migratory.
