First Time Home Buyers may be eligible for a limited pool of free money. This is due to a federal grant and is available only to first time home buyers getting a VA, FHA, or Conventional loan. There are income limits in order to qualify for this money ($43,650/year for 2 person family or $55,550 for a 4 person family), but the buyer could get their home for as little as $500 down.
