My family is always on the hunt for new dining experiences in DC.  We were excited when we found The Pig in the Logan Circle neighborhood. We couldn’t wait to try out its unique menu.

washington: Piney Branch Road Safeway Renovation Plans Announced - 02/08/19 05:30 PM
On Tuesday evening, a management team from the Safeway Corporation visited the Advisory Neighborhood Commission 4A meeting to explain some of the poor conditions that customers have faced over the past few years and display their proposed solution.
Some of the things that residents have complained about at this grocery store include a dark and unsafe parking lot, broken freezers, poor quality produce and those interminable check-out lines.

It was standing room only last night at the first Rock Creek East Livability Study meeting at the Shepherd Park library.  Over seventy residents and Department of Transportation (DDOT) staffers packed into the second floor meeting room to learn about the study process.  Councilmember Brandon Todd welcomed the audience and remarked on how eagerly the community has anticipated this review.  He introduced DDOT project manager Cynthia Lin, who gave a brief presentation that highlighted the purpose of the study.

Washington, DC Market Trends
The Washington real estate market continued its long hot streak. July’s median sales price of $569,000 was just $500 shy of the all-time record high.
Scarce supply continues to be the story, with less than a two-month supply of homes for sale on hand.
Half the homes sold in July were on the market 11 days or less.
