Cleveland Real Estate - is one of my Google Alerts, which I receive and review daily. Today I was frustrated with two articles, where Cleveland was mentioned. What a wrong image of the city! The first one was about the World Press Photo Contest results. The winner is Anthony Suau with the picture of Cuyahoga County sheriff's deputy Robert Kole checking out a foreclosed home in Cleveland. Honestly, the mess captured on this winning photo is not extraordinary for foreclosed homes. I've just listed the nice updated condo in Richmond Place of Richmond Heights, OH. What struck me was the piece of paper which I found in my desk drawer. That was a draft for Ad which I ran in 1999. That advertising was about the 3 beds 2 1/2 baths condominium in Richmond Place - exactly the same as I've just listed two days ago! And - the most amazing - the asking price is almost the same: back in 1999 it was $124,900. Today in 2008 it is more "Search criteria complied" $125,000. This fact just caught my attention. South Euclid is one of the most desirable destinations for investors in our East suburbs of Greater Cleveland. Why? Because of many reasons: 1. South Euclid-Lyndhurst Schools system is good. 2. Location is so convenient and accessible to University Circle, Downtown, Clveland Clinic, major highways and parks. 3. Amazing Strongsville! It's probably one of just few unique places in the whole Greater Cleveland area where the businesses are booming, shopping plazas are growing, streets are getting better! Good news is that home prices are still very affordable here. May be, it does not sound really exciting for current homeowners but the houses in Strongsville do not lose value. We had a wonderful warm, bright spring weather the last few days. Real estate market is very alive and active these days.
