Most CA Forclosures begin with the Trustor (homeowner) missing a monthly payment. In most practical terms, the Beneficiary (the Bank) doesn't begin the Forclosure process until the 3rd missed payment. We've seen much longer periods here in Ventura County, haven't we!? If the Bank cannot resolve the defaulted payment amount with the Trustor (homeowner), then the Trustee is instructed to begin Forclosure proceedings. The California Forclosure Timeline Is As Follows: Day 1: Notice of Default is filed with the County Recorder. Within 10 Business Days: Mail Notice of Default to Borrower's address. Hi there - happy Wednesday! So, those of you who know me, know that I've been powerfully single, kid-less and independently operating- up until about 12 months ago! Haha! :-) Now, I'm powerfully *Married*, WITH-kids, and INTER-dependently operating!! LOL! Yes, I have become a Step-Mommy to two amazing, bright, inquisitive and competitive kids (ages 6 & 8)! Every now and then I hear a story that is so great - I just have to pass it on to the people who I care about... I heard this from my coaching program: By Referral Only. Here it is: Charles Plump was a U.S. navy jet pilot in Vietnam. After 75 combat missions his plane was destroyed by a surface-to-air missile. Plumb ejected and parachuted into enemy hands. He was captured and spent six years in a communist Vietnamese prison. He survived the ordeal, and now lectures on lessons learned from that experience.
