Come this August, I'll celebrate 5 years since I stumbled onto this place, site, whatever called Active Rain. I know it saved my real estate business. I never would be where I am, know what I know, or have the successful website I have had I not found Active Rain. But, you know, it's really more than a website. For those of you that follow me on Facebook, you'll know I'm currently in Montana visiting my family. February is NOT my travel month of choice to Montana. It's 5 BELOW ZERO tonight and suppose to go to -11! But my sister called and wanted to organize a surprise party for my Mom's 75th Birthday. Yikes, I said. When my sister first called me to ask if I could come home for a surprise party for my Mom's 75th birthday, I thought how exciting. Then I remembered it's February in Montana. February + Montana = COLD and SNOW. But I said I'd see what I could do. If you have ever flown to Montana, let me just tell you, You can go pretty much anywhere else for less money. I've been blogging since 2007. It's been a learning curve, to say the least! I seem to have tried to give out information that will let people know I know my market, the area I serve, and details about it. And while I have done some "personal" blogs, I've probably not really shown my inner self. Might be a good reason for that......however, I've always been an outgoing person. It's that time of year....when load up the car with the kids and presents, or maybe just yourself, on your way home to see family, or perhaps you've been seperated from a loved one by job or other reasons. I Have Much More Than Many Others. I have a loving partner, mother and family. I have friends, be they near or far, who care.
