2011: What to do with your New Year’s night in the Portland, Oregon area (Video) - 12/31/11 12:14 PM
Are you wondering what to do tonight, the last year of 2011 in the Portland, Oregon area? Well, have I got an idea for you that is not only family friendly but is absolutely beautiful. Every year my family visits the Oregon Zoo to see the Zoo lights display.
The Oregon Zoo has Zoo lights every year starting the day after Christmas and then it goes through January 1st. Here is my families visit from this year and I hope you enjoy it enough to go see the Zoo Lights at the Oregon Zoo yourself and I promise there are … (6 comments)

2011: Thank you for my FREEDOM! - 11/11/11 06:23 AM

Lately I have been seeing lots of protests and even heard of one protester asking why we should give vets who got injured during war money, but not him. Well, let me tell you why! Because the soldier got injured protecting your freedom to say stupid things like that! They got injured doing their job, yes job, something you can’t get because you are high on drugs and have tattoos all over your face.
That veteran sacrificed for us and we should support him, you on the other hand have done nothing for this country and expect everything. Today, … (30 comments)

2011: The 2011 World Series: A chance to bond with my little Cardinal - 10/23/11 02:25 PM

As I write this between innings of the 4th game of the World Series 2011, I realize how nice it is to have something to bond over with my son. If you haven’t figured it out already, I’m a big baseball fan. It is a team sport that unlike any other sport if you aren’t playing together as a team, you just can’t win.
So, here I am cheering on the Cardinals with my son, though they are losing at this point, together we know they can come back and win. They do have the hitting in them as they … (6 comments)

2011: What a daunting task this will be! I’ve decided to update my blog and my websites! - 01/01/11 11:44 PM
What a daunting task this will be! As part of my new year’s resolution, I’ve decided to update my websites and my blogs. And because of that I’m going to have to go back 4 ½ years and update some 5,000 blog posts between four different sites.
Part of the reason for this is that broken links that have been discovered in the past couple weeks. It seems posts I wrote four years ago have links going to websites and web pages that no longer exist. I’ve also changed companies over the years and some of my older posts still show … (15 comments)

2011: As the sun sets on 2010, I want to wish you all a successful 2011 - 12/31/10 12:23 PM
Though over the next couple weeks I am assuming we will be losing a few members here in the rain thanks to the annual NAR dues not being able to be paid. (I hope I am wrong about this) I do hope you all have a very, very successful 2011.

Make a business plan, get an accountability partner and hit the ground running on Monday and you are bound to be successful. I thank all those who supported me in 2010 via their friendship, accountability and their sharing. Without you I don’t think 2010 would have been as successful as … (20 comments)

2011: May you all have a Merry Christmas! - 12/25/10 12:39 AM

I want to wish everyone a Merry, Merry Christmas! But also I would like to make sure that you don't forget to celebrate the reason for Christmas. It isn't presents, it is to celebrate the birth of our lord and savior Jesus Christ who died for our sins.

Merry Christmas everyone and may you have blessed 2011!

2011: 2011 is just around the corner, are you ready? - 12/15/10 12:01 AM

You can hear the buzz around the office, everyone is talking about their business plans, their New Year’s resolutions and how 2011 is going to be so much better than 2010. I’m going to ask you to do me a favor. Go look at your 2010 business plan and ask yourself, did I really do what I wanted to or was everything back to business as usual by February? Plan ahead, but make sure you stick with the plan if you want to succeed in 2011.

2011: In 2011 I’m going to remain king of my mountain… Are you? - 11/29/10 03:48 PM

You could stay on the valley floor, but the smart ones know being the king of your own mountain is where you really want to be. You can see your competitors and where your business is coming from. Are you the king of your mountain or looking around on the valley floor nervously?
