avoid foreclosure: Another person saved from foreclosure thanks to Todd Clark and the Friendly Home Team - 10/09/10 01:50 AM
Many home owners are facing foreclosure and no equity in their Beaverton / Tigard homes. One way to avoid foreclosure is to sell your home through a qualified agent on a short sale. This process can help you with your credit and hopefully in a few years you will be able to buy again once your situation has improved. … (11 comments)

avoid foreclosure: Banks aren’t the only ones being hit with foreclosures, but there is a difference – NO BAILOUT! - 07/08/09 09:12 PM

Over the past 6 years I’ve been in real estate, I’ve done a lot of owner financing and lease option deals for owners and buyers. But until this last summer I had never had a situation where a property was given back on a lease option or a home owner had to foreclose on a buyer.
But, there was a difference with the buyers and sellers of these properties versus the ones that were in pre-foreclosure with the banks. The sellers (who also were the bank on these sales) were willing to listen to the buyers and their situations and if they … (36 comments)

avoid foreclosure: My meeting with the seller of the $600,000 house that sold for $26,478! - 06/18/08 04:23 PM
Was it really possible? Was this person tricked in to this? What happened? Why did he do it? There were so many questions that popped into my head and others when I called on this house that was in default. But, what I heard on the phone couldn't be the real thing, could it? Selling a house that is worth $600,000 for $26,478 had to be fraud or had to be a scam! For the beginning of this story I suggest your read my featured post - Avoiding foreclosure shouldn't have cost you $575,000
Now for the rest of the story:

avoid foreclosure: Avoiding foreclosure shouldn’t have cost you $575,000 - 06/10/08 04:13 AM
How bad do you want to avoid foreclosure? What do you think it should cost you? Right now, you are just in default and may only have had the home a few years and don't have any equity, but in other cases you may have owned the home for many years such as the person I'm about to tell you about.
Recently I called a person on the phone that was in default. They only had about 30 days until foreclosure to see if I could help them sell their home. I saw that they had owned the $600,000 home since 1979. … (44 comments)

avoid foreclosure: Avoid foreclosure in Oregon and turn your home into a monthly profit center instead - 11/15/07 09:12 AM
Are you on the verge of going in to default and have no equity in your home? What if there was a way you could sell your home and walk away with a check at closing, and get a check every month?
Find out why my sellers who were about to go into default, or already are in default, are now happy to go the mailbox every month. Why would they be happy to go to the mailbox now, when just a month ago they were dreading another bill arriving? They sold their home that had no equity, for a profit!

avoid foreclosure: Avoiding Foreclosure - 01/16/07 07:48 PM
This topic is very important to me. I've seen a lot of mis-information out there and want to clear some of it up. I am a real estate agent, my career of choice. My job is to put people in to homes, not take them out of it. Foreclosure is something that NEVER has to happen. It is true, it does happen, but with the right information it can be avoided.
Don't avoid talking to your lender...this is the worst thing you can do. The lender doesn't want your home!
There are a lot of questions that need to be answered before you continue … (3 comments)
