One of my listings in Beaverton, Oregon is in escrow, and though this would seem to be great news, we seem to have run in to a little snag. It seems the owner who has owned the home since 2001 and has never paid and HOA found out from title that according to the title records the HOA needs to be contacted to make sure there are not HOA dues that are due from the seller upon close.

I love dogs, let’s get that out of the way right away. I’ve owned many over my life and I know one day I will own another one. Probably an English Bull dog or a Basset Hound, I just think they have so much personality in their faces.

Do you have a home for sale? Are you thinking of putting your home on the market in Tigard or Beaverton, Oregon? One thing I love about selling homes when I am the listing agent is getting the calls from potential buyers for those homes. You can hear the hope in their voice that you have had the one home they have been looking for this whole time and have yet been able to find. This shot was one of 100 that looked exactly the same because I was waiting for lighning for over 2 hours (Never did catch it, but I had my camera ready) But, sitting there waiting for the phone to ring without advertising the home is a lot like waiting for lightning. I can tell you that instead of planning a vacation which can make you feel good for a few days, why not do something that can make you feel good forever and only takes a couple hours? Every fisherman knows that the fish we catch get bigger and bigger every time we tell the story of our day out on the river or the lake. But, how does this apply to real estate? When is the best time to giveblood? The answer to that is anytime! Anytime you can donate blood, there will always be someone who could use it. But, as the holidays approach, why not give the best gift of all, the gift of life! My personal story is 20 years ago this year my dad had a liver transplant due to a rare liver problem. Thanks to someones donation of that liver and the blood transfusions needed during that surgery, I am happy to say my dad willbe celebrating a 20th extra Christmas with us this year.
