Yep, Oregon has a president that attended one of Oregon’s best colleges and it wasn’t Oregon State or University of Oregon, it was Pacific Academy. OK, now I can see all of you Oregon residents turning to each other and saying, “Pacific Academy, don’t you mean Pacific University?” Nope, it was Pacific Academy and is now better known as George Fox College. Many famous people have graduated from George Fox. I know it sounds crazy, but I got two calls from panicked homeowners yesterday that were convinced they were now going to lose their home. They were worried because they were already on a tight budget because of cutbacks at work, but as of today they managed to stay up on their home payments. But, when the health care bill passed they were worried now that they are going to be forced to buy health care insurance that they were no longer going to be able to pay their mortgage payment. At what point do you have to say that your HOA is out of control? I've heard arguments for and against HOAs and both arguments are good ones. The ones about keeping your yard neat and lawn mowed, no broken down cars all legit. But, sometimes an HOA can get out of control and what can you do to get them back in check if no one else wants to take the job. Yes, this is a political post, and you won’t see too many of these from me, but I want to let everyone I know that criticizing our president is part of our right as Americans.We must use the free speech right when we feel something is wrong in this country. Now, I’m not saying this about our current president, I’m saying this about any and all presidents past, president and future! No matter how I vote, I will in some way, criticize “MY PRESIDENT”.
