publish: Posting New Listings On ActiveRain - Does it Help?

I am still pretty new to ActiveRain and even though I am not a real estate agent myself, I keep seeing people post on their blogs about their new listings. So my question to you is this: have people who post new listings to their blogs seen direct results of this leading to new leads or offers? I understand the idea that it's good to publish and advertise anywhere you can, but since this is a real estate industry-oriented community, do many people (outsiders, dare I say ;) ) who are looking for properties come here?
