Closed in Feb, but the contract was early January. In the slowest month of the slowest market in at least the last 3 years, Dawn was able to sell one of our listings in ~60 days. IT WAS NOT AN REO or SHORT SALE. It was actually a very nice, newly remodelled home and a good deal for both parties ( I don't think the seller lost money, but didn't make much for the time and money put into it). Both properties did not sell (39 surrey and 211 Huntington) , but were rented out within a couple of weeks (even with the holidays). I guess we will wait until 2010 or later to sell. It will give the market a couple more years to recover and the value of the properties to appreciate.
