You can buy an electric home power washer for as little as $80, or a gas engine model for $200 and up. One can also contact your local handyman service to do … (6 comments)

A bridge over un-troubled waters. This is a photo of Twining park on Monroe's north side. One of the many parks our community has to offer. Is it time to move to the land of Cows and plows? Or should I say parks and bridges?

New Bakery opens today in Monroe
The owner Joanne Weeden (pictured on the right) brings back to Monroe something missing for a long time, fresh baked donuts, bagels, breads, and cookies. Joanne invites you to stop in and sample her bakery items. I'm sure you will make this a regular stop while you stroll Monroe's historic square. The Boomerang Bakery is located a 1/2 block SW of the square. Enjoy!

scott larson realtor: Let go of your attachments to the home before you sell - 04/13/10 07:51 AM

While there are some factors you can't control, like neighborhood popularity and market fluctuations, you can help your house put on its best face for showings and open houses. Before any physical preparations, you first need to prepare yourself emotionally. Begin to dissociate yourself, and decide to let go of your attachments to the home. From now on, this is a house you really want to sell, not your own beloved home.
