There are millions of non-filers in the United States. The IRS considers a non-filer to be any taxpayer that has not yet filed a tax return that is due. Once a taxpayer decides to make things right with the IRS and their state taxing authority, they have to get into compliance before they can settle any issues with how much money they owe. tax lawyer: I haven't filed my tax return... The IRS still sent me a bill

I am Michael Redden and I'm a tax attorney in Minneapolis, MN. In my practice, I represent tax payers before the IRS and tax authorities all over the country. Tax day was yesterday. Every year plenty of tax payers don't get their returns filed on time. Some of them file extensions and some don't. In fact, at least ten million Americans have at least one tax return that they never filed. The IRS calls these folks "non-filers." Potential clients are often shocked to find out that the IRS or their state Department of Revenue are still able to send them a tax

I am Michael Redden and I am a tax lawyer in Minneapolis, MN. A focus of my practice is civil and criminal taxpayer representation. There are a lot of people out there that haven't filed their tax returns. According to recent IRS estimates, there are at least 10 million tax payers that the government has identified as "non-filers." There are many reasons why it happens, but, for whatever reason, these folks have at least one or more tax returns that were never filed. Some folks haven't filed returns for over ten years. Every year that you fail to file a tax return
