Speechless Sunday - Absarokee Sunset on Christmas Day I can not imagine getting tired of taking photos of sunrise and sunsets. Here are a couple of photos taken at dawn using my digital camera's zoom lense from the backyard of my friends' house in Absarokee, Montana (Absarokee is about 30 miles from Red Lodge).
I thought the two horses seen above complemented very well this peaceful scenery. Here is the sunset photo taken in Absarokee, Montana.

Sunset Photos from Absarokee, Montana a.k.a Big Sky Country The following photos were taken in Absarokee (about 30 miles northwest of Red Lodge, Montana) on Thanksgiving day. The sky was so mesmerizing as the turkey was getting ready that I seized the opportunity to take these photos which I am happy to share with you. This first photo includes the moon (top left of photo).
Here is a panoramic photo (taken a couple of minutes before) so that you can get a better sense of the beautiful landscape and sunset sky.

Red Lodge By Night Here are photos I took the night of August 6, 2009. As I was leaving the office, I noticed the amazing display of colors in the sky. This was the call to make a detour om my way home to drive on Highway 308 towards Bearcreek and take the following sunset photo from the overlook before it got any darker. It was a memorable sunset and I enjoyed every minute of it. I will let the photos do the rest of the talking.

The following photos were both taken on July 15 in Red Lodge, Montana. It is always a nice end to the day to be able to take the time and enjoy the changing of the colors of the sky at sunset. On this evening, I noticed the clouds take on a reddish accent right at sunset and was able to capture the moment with my digital camera.
