Home owners are caught up in a speculation trend. For lack of a better word, the future speculations of this town has played this towns market like a fiddle. One day Hudson Bay to be the next little Fort Mac, the next day nothing is moving, nothing is happening. In the mind of the seller: If I sell today for this I will miss the great boom which is SUPPOSE to happen, if I sell to cheap I will regret what I could have gotten for my property when it does happen if it does. The land of beautiful trees and lots clean fresh air, with the Red Deer River and Fir River so close to this town and the wildlife of plenty how can it not be a beautiful place to raise a family or retire. Not like just any small town is one way of describing us. With so much recreational activity and natural resources what else could one possibly want?
