Even with clouds and light rain, New York City's July 4th celebration was spectacular. A few million spectators watched the amazing spectrum of colorful fireworks. The views which are synonymous with the New York City skyline were called "million dollar views and temporarily stole the spotlight. This year the festivities were moved from the Water Club to a barge in Brooklyn. More than 35,000 shells sparkled over the East River. Sponsored by Macy's this annual event is the world's largest fireworks display.
