The graph and chart below were generated from statistics directly from the SOCAL MLS for all single family homes in Orange County. The bar graph represents the number of new home listings entering the market every month for the past 12 months. As can be seen, since December 2012 the number of homes listed for sale month-over-month has increased for the last 5 months. If the trend continues, it may be a matter of time before the supply meets the demand and this "hot" Orange County seller's market cools down! Whether our clients buy new or resale homes, we will always provide objective information, because we want what is best for the client.

First of all, prices are never guaranteed to go up more (even in the Orange County real estate market), and no one has a crystal ball to make that promise. If you decide on this strategy you fall into the speculator category.
