appraisals: Are we not Lawyers...in CA?

Calling all Cali-fornia Realtors. Does is ever feel like you're a lawyer in the transaction? Now, don't get me wrong, I understand my fiduciary duties and actually like the responsibility, but man, lately I have been having conversations with agents back east and (okay maybe the grass is greener) but with an actual licensed lawyer a part of the transaction (i.e. escrow), it seems my fellow Realtors are able to better concentrate on closing the deal rather than keeping it from falling a part (other than financing and appraisals...). Would love to hear back from the community at large and how … (2 comments)
