If I were to hand you a paper clip and were to ask you to sell it to me, could you? How would you go about it? What features would you mention? What uses would you bring up? What "special" thing about this paper clip would be the key item in your head that would click in your mind as being "the hook" in your sales pitch?

Working where I do, I have an opportunity to speak with agents all over the country about their local markets and the trends that are happening there.  One conversation I had yesterday prompted me to pose a question on our facebook page about open houses.

Since my company is based in Missoula, Montana, I don't know what homes generally sell for in your area.  It could be that you can't even buy a closet space for less than $200,000. Housevalues?  HomeGain?  RealEstate.com?  ServiceMagic? 
Have you been down this road before??  Names like these usually strike fear into the hearts of those that have used them for one reason or another....whether it be the lack of quality referrals or the huge monthly fees and diabolical commission splits or hidden fees. 
Having said that, I would like to introduce to everyone a better option.  Century21's International Realtor of the year, Amanda King, has been taking referrals from www.recr.com for 4 years...and says that 40% of her annual sales comes from recr.com.  And, for her, that equates to over $5million in sales.  Below … (4 comments)
