mn home stager: A Buyers' Agent Is Just As Valuable As A Buyer To A Worthy Listing Agent - 07/21/10 03:14 AM

Not returning my phone calls. do not want to give me access into YOUR listings because you want a hogger?

Marketing to real estate agents is as important a task as marketing to potential buyers.  Co-broke agents are the crux of our business.  We love to see agents from near and far, and the further out they are from the better the chance of closing that buyer.  When an agent from Boston, or one of its suburbs, drives to Franklin, it's realistic to think that a reservation will follow.  Agents do not like to waste their time, nor do … (1 comments)

mn home stager: Letter From a Japanese Fisherman - 05/25/07 12:19 PM
Recalling-The-Rescue-of A Japanese Fisherman
In the above blog I told you the story of Ray Midlo and his war time experience of demonstrating compassion in the face of the inhumanity of war in an article by Jodie Tweed , staff writer for the Brainerd Dispatch. Below is the translated from Japanese to English letter that the rescued Japanese fisherman wrote to Ray.
"Dear Mr. Midlo,
I am Torakuma Yamamoto who was rescued at dawn of September 18th, 1945, while drifting after my boat was wrecked at night on 16th of the month.
I was shocked to read the paper dated February 22, 1957, which reports … (2 comments)

mn home stager: Mn Home Stager Report-"Freedom Celebration" is moving - 05/25/07 05:36 AM
Open Forum Letter  in the Brainerd Dispatch by my friend
Warrant Officer-Timothy Taggart
Deerwood, MN
As we look ahead to Memorial Day and all the activities that will be happening around the local area I strongly encourage everyone to consider "Freedom Celebration" a musical cantata/family outing put on by the Heritage Assembly of God.
I know everyone is busy but I can not get out of my mind an anonymous letter I once read.  It went something like this,"Remember when we went to prom and I spilled pop all over your tux, I thought you would get mad but you didn't and remember … (0 comments)

mn home stager: Proverbs on Credit - 05/23/07 02:25 PM
Proverbs 21:20  A foolish man devours all he has.
Proverbs 21:17  He who loves pleasure will become poor.
Proverbs 19:20  Listen to advice and accept instruction and in the end you will  be wise.
Proverbs 19:3  A man's own folly ruins his life, yet his heart rages against the Lord.
We live in a money driven society where many are constantly searching for bigger, better, or faster. God is pleased when we are able to wisely accept a lower standard of living rather that to go into debt and live beyond our means . Often the credit is to obtain nonessential things that we believe … (5 comments)

mn home stager: King Kong Escapes Zoo - 05/22/07 02:07 PM
OK, so his name is really ,Bokito, but he does weigh 400 pounds. Bokito escaped from his enclosure in the Rotterdam Zoo in the Netherlands and caused a good deal of trouble.  He took a modern day ,Faye Raye, hostage, dragging her around and biting her.  Robert deJonge describes the scene "I saw the beast running through the park with a woman behind him, him grabbing her forearm"  At a distance of around 30 yards he saw the gorilla lie down near the woman and then heard her scream
"He bit her or I think he bit her, because when he stood … (0 comments)

mn home stager: Armed Forces Day Photos - 05/21/07 06:29 AM

That's me in the middle with the sling & my mouth open, of course.(that is how we sing here in MN). It was a bright and sunny day and the crowd was ready to roll.  The kids were climbing the wall (that is what it was there for) and exploring all the equipment.  We even tried out a few pieces and got in a tank.  I do not like small spaces so that didn't last long.
All in all it was a great day at the Brainerd National Guard Armory.
These are the follow up photos from … (0 comments)

mn home stager: Looking Good! - 05/16/07 08:47 AM

Think of the front entry door as a smile on the face of the home. You want it to be clean (no broccoli in the teeth), fresh, and inviting.  A quality door with attractive door hardware  will imply that this house is quality thru and thru.  It must operate smoothly.
Choose accessories for the door and surrounding areas that play up its features (now we are talking lipstick, blush, and mascara).  Look for an elegant entry light, a charming mailbox, and house numbers that are visible from the street.
Potted plants, topiary and a seasonal wreath are like jewelry enhancing that perfect smile.   … (10 comments)

mn home stager: Build Up - Be A Blessing - 05/16/07 08:16 AM
Romans 16:1-16
Paul at this point is sending this letter to the Roman church and it was probably being delivered by Phoebe,  a servant of the church in Cenchrea .  This title of "servant"  here has long been thought to mean that she was a woman deacon or held a similar position.
In this portion of the letter, Paul is sending greeting and affirmations to many.  He called them by name and gave some identifying information about their work  or a relationship.  And then... he said something nice about each one.
There may be people is your life whether at work, … (5 comments)

mn home stager: MN Home Stager Report-Remember the Postage Rate Change - 05/14/07 01:31 AM

Starting Monday, May14.2007 the postage rates for letter and parcels in the US will  go up.  The first class letter rate will be 41 cents.
However you may purchase the new "forever" stamp at the new rate of 41 cents and they will remain valid for sending letters regardless of any future rate increase.  The stamps will not have a price printed on them.
But the price of 41 cents will not last forever!  If the rate goes to 53  cents then that is what "forever" stamps will cost to purchase.  Stamps purchased at a lower cost can still be used without having … (0 comments)

Our fishing opener for Mn was Saturday , May 12th.  It is estimated that 1 million anglers were out on the water trying for the elusive but tasty northern pike and walleye.  How many of these dressed warmly for the chilly weather ,also thought to strap on a Personal Flotation Device?  Going overboard unintentionally in any weather is dangerous but with extra layers of clothing, the low water temperature, and a 50 degree air temperature will put your life in peril.  BoatingBasicsOnline.com

mn home stager: Baby Born on 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 ! - 05/11/07 05:29 PM
Klare Mada Lorentz was born to Kalli and Rick Lorentz of Pillager, MN on Sunday, May 6th, 2007 at precisely 12:34 P.M. "The timing was simply amazing," said Nan Kalk, a registered nurse at Lakewood Health System in Staples who played a role in Klare's natural delivery.  "It really was a one-in-a-million event, especially considering the delivery team did nothing to interfere with what time the baby arrived.
"Klare will forever be known as
Lakewood Health System's
"little 1234567 baby," said Kalk.
