I signed up for a Webinar sponsored by the National Association of REALTORS® and am thinking how sad it is that we need to even consider these issues. Although I have not had any trouble or even felt uncomfortable at a showing or an open house, I know others who have. I have also heard of robberies, rapes and murders of agents. While ideal weather is one of the main advantages to selling your home in the Spring, another advantage is that the children do not have to be moved in mid-school year. When a buyer purchases a home in the Spring or early Summer, they are most likely to move in during the Summer. That means plenty of time for the kids to adjust and adapt to the area before the new school year begins. They may even make a friend or two in their new neighborhood before the first day of school.
