When I am discussing with a Seller, the best way to list their home, I always say "Less is best". There are always good reasons for this. First, a buyer needs to be looking at a clean slate. Walking in a home, although beautifully appointed, with all your family, children, grandchildren and pet photos does not let a buyer "envision" themselves in your home. They feel like a guest and whether they like your style or not, they will not consider it theirs. Mentally placing their own furniture and photos etc, is the most important part of a Buyers mindset. Houses are flying off the market here in Warwick RI! This home, pictured left went under contract in 10 days and would have gone sooner if not for the HUD guidelines of giving all buyers a 10 day even chance! I cannot tell you how many calls I had from buyers for this house! I have been working with several buyers lately and we are having problems actually getting inside some of the homes due to so many people buying right now!
