A longstanding tradition, The 32nd Annual Great Rubber Duck race, takes place in Breckenridge on Saturday, August 31st, 2019. This Labor Day tradition hosted by The Summit Foundation provides grants to over 100 local non-profits in Summit County and scholarships to students. Bring the family to watch nearly 10,000 rubber ducks race down the Blue River. There are three divisions for this event: The Kids Duck Dash, Business Battle Duck Race, and the Great Rubber Duck Race. Although snow was not falling during the festivities, snow was rolling down the streets and Ullr Fest was in full swing as 40 + floats paraded down Main Street Breckenridge entertaining crowds with loud music, dancing, cheering, and yes even skiiing and snowboarding.
